Modeled after a stately English home, The Hatfield House in Hertfordshire, England, The Vernon Manor Hotel has the ambiance one would expect of a gracious English Manor. The hotel was built in 1924, as an escape and retreat for the then wealthy Cincinnati residents from the busy downtown riverfront district which was referred to as "Porkopolis" due to the city?s leading business, pork processing. The Vernon Manor sat above the city, perched on one of Cincinnati?s famous Seven Hills, treating lucky visitors to wonderful service and a spectacular view.
