Located in the heart of London in the fashionable shopping borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Mayflower Hotel is the perfect headquarters for a London getaway. The rooms and apartments combine modern simplicity with Victorian luxury, with natural wood furniture and marble sinks and counters. The rooms are a little on the small side, and the thin walls don't stop out all of the noise from slamming doors or nearby trains, but the sound is only mildly annoying, and won't ruin anybody's stay. If you're extra sensitive, though, think about getting a room more towards the front, further away from nearby Earl's Court train station.
