Mythology has it that Atlantis was actually a 'lost' continent that sank beneath the ocean somewhere and sometime back in long lost antiquity. Who knows and who cares?! When you visit Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, you'll feel that you have found that lost world. There isn't a resort to match the Atlantis anywhere in the Caribbean; in fact, there are only a few in the world. This is the modern version of a mythical city, breathtaking in every detail, and impossible to imagine if you haven't already seen it. The Atlantis has a water theme park and "the world's largest marine habitat" built into the grounds. In addition, it has 22 restaurants, a dozen bars, several swimming pools and a shopping mall that features a dozen of the top designer boutiques in the world. Guests can meander through hallways and watch through glass walls as schools of fish swim by.
