Radisson Edwardian Voted Coolest Hotel Chain of 2008

Radisson Edwardian hotels, renowned for their style, service and quality, have scooped the official 'Cool' award for the second year running. The COOL Venues Awards, developed by Prestige Events, saw the hotel group come out on top as the coolest hotel chain ahead of rivals, making this chic hotel group stand out from the rest.

Radisson Edwardian boasts an enviable portfolio of luxury hotels including The May Fair, The Hampshire, Leicester Square, Manchester Free Trade Hall, and New Providence Wharf; all unique in their own way. A panel of expert judges agreed that what all of the hotels share is an underlying sense of coolness.

The poll, which was published in Prestige Events magazine, took into account factors such as charisma, originality, style, innovation, sex appeal, authenticity, and uniqueness. Considerations such as the hotel's heritage and history were also taken into account by the judges.

The panel of judges was made up of a diverse group of experts including Zanine Adams of Visit London, Will Broome MD of Londonlaunch, and Wesley Mendy Publisher of Prestige Events magazine. Having a mix of journalists, industry figureheads, event organisers and event specialists ensured that all opinions of the definition of 'cool' were covered.
