Mandy Moore and Paula Cole to play The Borgata

Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa announced today the addition of Mandy Moore and Paula Cole to its 2007 entertainment lineup. Their co-headlining tour will stop at the Music Box on September 14th, with tickets going on sale Saturday, August 11th at 10 a.m.

In support of her new, critically acclaimed album, Wild Hope, Mandy Moore will hit the road with Paula Cole, for her first-ever co-headlining tour. Fans and critics alike have praised Moore as she emerges from her former teen star shell into a respectable singer-songwriter, having collaborated with the likes of Rachael Yamagata, The Weepies, and Lori McKenna, among others. Mandy is excited to bring this very personal collection of songs to an equally intimate live setting, like that of the Music Box on September 14th, telling USA Today, “I’ve spent the last three years either thinking about or writing or recording my new songs, and now it’s time to perform them in front of a live audience. That’s what it’s all about.”

Co-headlining with Moore is Paula Cole, who debuted in 1994 with Harbinger, and rose to prominence with the hit “I Don’t Want to Wait” in 1996, which later became the anthem for the teenage drama “Dawson’s Creek.” Courage, her first full-length album since 1999, was released in June and features guest appearances by Herbie Hancock, Chris Botti, and David Foster.
