Brad and Angelina's Newest Baby - a Croatian Resort

Is Hollywoods biggest power couple opening a hotel in Croatia? Nothing is set in stone but reports are that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are in talks with actor Rade Serbedzija and other investors to open a resort on the Brijuni Islands in Croatia. Rade Serbedzija starred In the Land of Blood and Honey which written and directed by Angelina Jolie. In the Land of Blood and Honey is a love story set in Eastern Europe during the Bosnian War.

The resort is planned to include a hotel, villas, a golf course and a private marina in the Adriatic Sea. Hotel De Rome History

The Rocco Forte Hotel de Rome on Berlin’s Bebelplatz has interesting stories to tell not only within its own walls but the name Hotel de Rome goes two centuries back and is part of the history of Berlin.The name “Hotel de Rome” or “Hotel Stadt Rom” can be traced back to 1775. It was at that time one of the finest hotels/guest houses located “Unter den Linden” house number 10. End of the 1850s, Adolf Mühling acquired the building, refurbished and extended it to a luxurious five-storey, 200 bedrooms hotel including a ballroom and an elegant restaurant. Hotel de Rome was one of Berlin’s most famous hotel and hosted important events like the “Berlin Press Ball”. Furthermore, hotelier Mühling was purveyor to the court and it is known that he delivered a bathtub from the hotel to the emperors’ palace that was not yet equipped with a bathroom. MSC Mediterranean Cruise Guide

A quick recap of that article is that my husband and I took an MSC Cruise of the Mediterranean disembarking from Barcelona. This is what we learned from the experience. Some things you should know before your MSC Cruise – Spend some time getting used to the ship layout. Large ships can take 10-15 minutes to get from one side to the other and sometimes you will be in a rush! Also avoid queues at the elevator by walking 2 minutes to the next set or taking the stairs.Although food at most of the restaurants is free, they do have specialty restaurants which do cost. You can charge it to your own board account.Let them know in advance of dietary requirements.Drinks are not included in lunch and dinner.
