About Carlton Jackson

Carlton Jackson is a published author and retired history professor. He has traveled to over 50 countries, written dozens of books and has been published several times over. His next book next book, "Child of the Sit-Downs: The Revolutionary Life of Genora Dollinger" is scheduled for publication in 2008.

In his 50 year career as a professor he has been awarded four senior Fulbright senior lecture awards in India, l97l-72; Pakistan, l974-75; Bangladesh, fall, l985; and in the l989-90 school year. He was also the Fulbright Bicentennial Professor of American Studies at the University of Helsinki, in Finland. He has lectured on U.S. history and American Studies for the USIA and State Department in several countries, including Germany, Austria, Afghanistan, Greece, Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, and Chile.
